Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market
The Halifax Seaport is a vibrant arts and cultural district found at the south end of the Halifax waterfront. Extending from Piers 19 to 23, you will find artisans, retailers, cruise terminals, event facilities, cafés, galleries, offices, a museum, a university and the weekend farmers’ market. This district has been redeveloped to showcase local talent and is now a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
Halifax Brewery Market
The Halifax Brewery Market Cooperative, a member-run not-for-profit coop, hosts a weekly year-round farmers market every Saturday in the historic Alexander Keith's building hidden along Lower Water Street just off the Halifax Boardwalk.
Our mandate is to support and promote small-scale, local food producers and artisans and to be a positive force in the growth and sustainability of our local economy. We strive to be a welcoming community space for people to come together, supporting and nourishing a sustainable local food system in a relaxed environment. The market is a place for gathering and building community.
Nova Con - Author Day
